Efficiently Optimize Your Lightroom Workflow to Save Time

KISS is an acronym that’s well known. It stands for Keep It Simple Stupid. This tag was created by the US Navy during the 1960s and could be used to describe modern photography.

Adobe Lightroom has probably become the most popular photographic app. The seamless integration of nondestructive image editing and management is its appeal. I’ve been using Lightroom Classic since many years, and my catalog has around 80k photos.

Recently, I’ve started looking at my workflow using Lightroom. As many photographers do these days, I have multiple revenue streams. Stock, prints, courses, to name a few.

To do this, I used Lightroom’s powerful rating tools for each genre to edit and export images. Recently, I realized that my workflow had become too complicated. I use every tool that is available for cataloging, which makes me slow. We’re going to examine Lightroom’s overall image management and the reasons why you might want to streamline your Lightroom work flow.
