Most of us think monochrome means black and white. Monochrome is black and white, but the term “monochrome”, which means different tones of a single colour, is not. Here are some beautiful monochrome photographs to inspire you!
You will notice that many of the objects and frames around us are monochromatic, whether they be in nature or man-made. You will soon be able capture visually pleasing monochromatic photos once you begin to recognize this. Monochromatic images are calm and neutral, without much contrast. If you want to change this pattern, add a contrasting component to bring more interest to the picture.
