Even though AI threatens to replace us, there is still a need for authentic content. Even if we implemented AI in Instagram, it probably wouldn’t make us want to create real content.
Even though smartphones are very popular, there is still a lack of peripherals and accessories. There are a lot of options but they do not compare to pro-grade materials. Rode wants to change that with its $USD 90 MagSafe Mount that can accommodate professional-grade accessories such as lights and microphones.
Engadget specifically highlighted the use cases for Apple products in their article. You can choose between landscape and portrait mode with two adjustable cold shoe arms.
The big brother is available for those who want something more powerful. It comes with 5 cold shoe mounts, and can be used with tripods or handles. The “Cage”, which is billed as having everything you need to film, costs $USD 120.
Both will be available for purchase on April 24, and they are part of Rode’s plan to release more high-quality accessories that can handle the increasing smartphone market. According to Engadget, this new focus on creators is a result of Rode’s recent acquisition of Mackie, an audio accessory maker.
